i couldn’t fall asleep last night, as i was PISSED AT THE SHITTY SHARPENING JOB ON MY BELOVEDS!!! yes, the big one is decades old, but it’s true and lovely, and deserves to be treated as such. god DAMN!! i called the place and cancelled the order for the other 4, and really want to slap the 20-something ‘manager’, who couldn’t tell that one knife had a glaring manufacturing defect, saying ‘it had been ground down more on one side by the last person who sharpened it’. i don’t even care about the defect anymore, i just wanted the service to see if it was salvageable, toss it if it’s not…..fucking idiots. sigh. off to find yet another new sharpening service. fuck.
